For Assembly District 2

I am running for State Assembly because I believe we should be doing much more to protect and improve the quality of life in our fast-growing community and state.
As your Assemblyman, I will work hard to make this an even better place to live, to work, to raise a family and to retire.
My pledge to you--
- To make a real commitment to improving our public schools- smaller classes, greater accountability for school spending, enhanced compensation for teachers to help solve our teacher shortage.
- To develop innovative programs to help small business provide health care coverage to their employees, to help solve our nursing shortage, to further lower prescription drug costs, to reduce the number of uninsured and to lower the costs of health care for everyone.
- To keep taxes low, to keep in place caps on property taxes, to demand more accountabilty for government spending, to keep our business climate favorable to small business.
- To strengthen laws to crack down on street crime involving drugs and gangs, to better protect our children and our senior citizens, and to enhance penalties against economic crimes as ID theft and fraud.
- To restore the public's faith in their elected officials by meaningful ethics reform.
